Affectionally known as the "Grand Dame" of Bed Racing, Edith Amsterdam has been racing beds since 1978. Her first bed race was on the Market Sreet Hill in Alexandria Bay, New York.

Edith is also the owner and operator of the Historic Curry Mansion in Key West, Florida.

Edith Amsterdam will lead the Race of Beds as the Grand Marshall prior to the start of the Red Ribbon Bed Race.
